How to send a link using tep_email?

I've written a contribution that sends out emails to customers thanking them for their order and encouraging them to write a review. I generate a link that takes them directly into the review system without requiring them to log in. The problem I have is with sending that link with the tep_email function. The email goes out fine, but the link I put in there is missing.

 

Does that function support HTML? It seems to strip out the links. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for how to send links using tep_email or other functions?
