disable weight in shipping methods during checkout?

Folks,

In the checkout_shipping.php page, the modules display the packages & weight in the description (for example: UPS (1 x 1.2lbs) ). I need a way to disable the package x weight part so it reads 'UPS' only.

Why? I'm trying to integrate with t-hub. Whenever I import a shipping method from osCommerce, the descriptor changes as each order has a different weight. The simple solution is to disable the package x weight reporting.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Or how to integrate this with t-hub?
