PayPal Express Checkout IPN for osCommerce 2.2 MS2

Where do I make the configuration changes at? What files to I change?

 

Also, is there suppose to be a new Payment Module after installation? If so, there isn't one present in my store/admin/module area. I haven't noticed any changes made from this installation.

Please check carefully where you uploaded the files to, especially catalog/includes/modules/payment/paypal_ec.php. It seems to me that the files are not in the right places.

 

Make sure you extracted the package with folder names.

I uploaded the files according to the package files and directories to the store. I noticed that there were no files in the store/catalog directory before I began. So I uploaded all of the files from the package there as instructed. Next, I proceeded to modify the files, but they weren't in the same same directory either. For instance, the catalog/checkout_shipment.php (from the package) is located in /www.mydomain.com/httpdocs/store/checkout_shipping.php in my store.

 

What are all the files that are supposed to be located in the.../store/catalog/ directory?

In your case, upload new files/catalog/ to your /www.mydomain.com/httpdocs/store/ directory.

Also, I wasn't able to upload /catalog/includes/modules/payment/paypal_ec.php because the file already exists. Is this the same file as /catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/paypal_ec.php in the package?

Do not copy modified files over your existing ones unless you have a clean installed osCommerce without any other modification. Even with clean installed osCommerce, you need to add new definitions to your existing files, not replacing them with the files in the PayPal EC IPN package.

 

Files in different directories are for different purposes, although some of them have the same filename, they are not the same.

Just treat the catalog folder in the package as your store folder, and modify your existing files.

No. Upload your PayPal API cert file to the top most directory you have access to.

Under Modules->Payment look for PayPal Express Checkout.

I uploaded the API to /www.mydomain.com/httpdocs/

 

I looked in every file and there isn't a PayPal Express Checkout anywhere. Would you mind looking at my store files and try to figure out what the problem is?
