Blank Database

Hi,

 

I'm a beginner at all this and have no experience or knowledge of PHP or MySql....I want to develop the site at my local computer first, before uploading it..

 

Anyway, I've installed Xammp and acessed PHPMYAdmin to create a blank database...I've named the DB but its requested to imput a number of fields..The question is: is this going to limit my DB in anyway? If I imput a certain number will it limit the DB created?

 

Can anybody help please? :blush:

 

I will certainlly ask many more questions when move foward to install Oscommerce...but I've read allready almost the entire forum to gain information..
