maza Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I did some of the suggestions on how to create the above two files. I FTP into my destination folder and it just entered freely without asking for password. I was told by my provider that Windows based server does not support .htaccess/.htpasswd. Is there any other way I can do this, if its not with .htaccess, how can I protect my /catalog/admin directory? Thanks.

Surely there is a simple way to protect a folder on a Windows host?? Let me know how you got around this problem... Jon
