usernamenone Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Log into admin and under tools you will see server info it will tell you all the info about the server your site is hosted on. If libcurl is not there then your host does not offer it and you will eiter have to choose a different paypal module or switch hosting companies. no i dont think i do. how can i check that out? if its not on the server how can we enable or get it on there? using cpanel with whm.
GoTTi Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 yes it is the curl. i just installed curl on my personal server and recompiled the apache through WHM and everything worked fine with the paypal thing. now i just gotta ask my friend to recompile his server through WHM and activate the Curl on his and we are all good.
sheltonjb Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 would it be this error that says "session has timedout" when trying to process payments in paypal? Shelton Brown Web/Graphic Designer
GoTTi Posted April 4, 2007 Author Posted April 4, 2007 no its a error that says it cant connect to the paypal server. i recompiled my 2nd server with curl and openssl and all the ssl stuff activated on it and my other store is working fine with it now. before i did that i got the same error. so its either the curl, or the curl with ssl stuff, either way it goes its looking like Curl needs to be activated and compiled on the server for the WPP to run properly.
