misetic Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Hi, I have no idea what I'm doing. My hoster has a quick install icon for OScommerce and all the files were uploaded directly by them. I go to the admin and on this board to find out how to build the site itself and the best I can come up with is to go to www.mydomain.org/osc and it says that I am a guest, and then I click the link to "log myself in" and the error message I get is that the SSL site is not configured. Can anyone help?
jsisson01 Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Most likley the SSL option is turned on while your host has not applied the SSL certificate to your site. Either edit your configure.php files to Enable SSL "false" or talk to your host about getting an SSL certificate installed for your site.
Guest Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 your configure.php file is not setup properly, you also need to purchase an ssl certificate, you do not necessarily have to purchase via your host, you can purchase from anywhere you feel comfortable with and with the options you want. dont purchase the first one you come across, do some research
