How to add a contribtribution to my site

I have downloaded this contribution but am not sure exactly what to do next. I am guessing that I should upload to my admin area, then catalog? I am just not sure.

If anyone can give me specific (I am not knowledgable at all in this area) instructions on what to do next, I would really apppreciate it. I read all the READ ME files and the page where I downloaded from, but it does not specifically tell me what to do next. The searches I have completed are to vague for me to understand. I am a novice.

Thanks,

Nancy

Download the contribution, unzip it, read the instructions included with the contribution. You will need a PHP editor and an FTP program to make the changes and upload to your site.

Yes, I can do that, but where do I upoad to? Admin/catalog, or Includes/catalog?

Depends on the specific file.

With the contributions you don't just download them and then upload the files that were in the zip file to a specific place (unless you have never modified your oscommerce installation in any way). You will need to edit specific files to make the necessary changes associated with each individual contribution. The files you edit could be from the catalog side of your store and/or from the admin side of your store. Most contributions make changes to both sides (admin and catalog). So based on whatever files you edit is where they would go. For example, if you make a change to the index.php file in the catalog directory then you would upload the file back to the catalog directory. If you make a change to the index file on the admin side you would upload the file there.

I understand now, and thank you, will give it a try. Thank you.
