Guest Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 I am confused on my inability to set the right user permissions allowing me to edit to a text file on oscommerce. I get .... Error- you cannot write to this file go back and set your permission to ..... I follow the directions, and it leads to my page. I have a gut feeling structurally somthing is wrong. I do not have a clue what.
Guest Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 how are you trying to edit the osc files? Use a regular text editor, download the file from the server, modify it and then re-upload it via ftp.
