Default currency

Hi all

 

I have set my default currency to British Pounds in my Admin panel, but on the website the default currency is still displayed as US$... Do I need to change any other settings? I thought this was it.

I have tried to change the settings in the admin panel several times and British Pounds is actually marked as "default" but the site still displays US Dollars as default...

 

I don't want to delete US$ - am I doing something wrong?

In the english.php file (found in /catalog/includes/languages) look for

 

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'USD');

 

and change it to

 

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'GBP');
