daller Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Hi there, I've installed osCommerce, and it's simply AWESOME! There is one thing I need, though! I have a lot of almost identical products that I want to create! (belts, resistors, transistors, etc... - I have hundreds of products in each of the afore mentioned categories!) - This requires a lot of work, so I can't do it the "usual way"! I have all these products in a seperate database (on the same server), so I "simply" need a way to load them into osCommerce... Is there an EDI available, or anything similar? This feature is also relevant if a shopowner wishes to "rip" a suppliers homepage for all it's products, and calculate the selling-price, maybe by multiplying with a preset factor.

You might try this program to see if it will pull the product from your full database. http://www.mariovaldez.net/software/oscpmwin/index.php?c=9 Just be sure to configure the tables to match the one your pulling from it is preprogramed for osCommerce. Not sure it will work but its worth a try.
