Trentide Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I'm not sure if something is wrong here. But when I google my site, and go to the "cached" in the results, it says that the results were catched 20 days ago. Google still shows my "Work In Progress" placard, even though I've been up and running for at least two weeks. I know that the Google bots have been to my page almost everyday. What's the deal? How long will it take to update that info? Meanwhile in the two weeks I've implemented Ultimate_SEO_URLs, cDynamic_Meta_Tags v1.4, submitted my sitemap to google and submitted my site to dmoz. How long before I start seeing results? Is there anything I can do, other than get quality links, which I'm working on? Thanks In Advance, Jason
Trentide Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 Anybody? I can't believe that it takes that long to update my site in google. If google is at my site everday, what's it doing there then? Did I do something wrong, that google doesn't like? AAAhhhhhhh!!!! Please Help, Jason
mpiscopo Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Jason, It just takes time. Be patient and keep improving your website and marketing - it'll pay off in the long run. Just like everything in business, nothing happens quickly - it's all a result of steady and consistent determination with lots of hard work. I was reading an article which stated that the most common trait of successful business persons is patience. These people understand that the work they do today will return results not today, but at a later time. As such they are working towards the future and building solid businesses. Keep your eye on the long term and keep taking steps towards it.
