Guest Posted October 21, 2002 Posted October 21, 2002 Hi all, I have received so much help from the community, especially Bao Quoc Nguyen who has given me far more of his time than he needed to helping me with my authorizenet problems. They turned out to be problems with my hosting company and not his contribution at all. I looked at the list of developers because I remembered there was a way to support the project financially on that page. I suppose this could be a ticklish question, but to whom would it be most advantageous for the project, osCommerce to make a financial contribution? I can't contribute much as I'm out of work, but this extraordinary open source effort deserves my support. If you want to advise me, please feel free to do so privately. I'm not trying to start something!!! I just want to help out the project because I'm grateful. Jerry Nielsen :)
gevans Posted October 21, 2002 Posted October 21, 2002 Like Jerry, I was wondering the same thing as well. We are currently developing an OSC site and when complete we feel we would like to make a donation of some kind. Should we send funds to Harald and the other OSC team members or get them stuff from their wishlists or what would work best for OSC as a whole?
baonguyenx Posted October 21, 2002 Posted October 21, 2002 Hi all, Here is the message from Authorizenet: "WebLink and Relay Response have become insufficient to meet the newest security needs of merchants. As a result, and to optimize the security of submissions to the Payment Gateway, the WebLink and Relay Response connection methods will eventually be discontinued." More detail about this news: http://www.authorize.net/files/conversionguide.pdf This means the ADC Relay Response came with osc2.2 will not be functional, and it needs to be converted to ADC Direct Connection Method. You can download my code here if you decide to use ADC Direct Connection from Oscommerce Contribution. There is a file Installation.txt that came with my instruction of how to install it. http://www.oscommerce.com/downloads.php/co...ions,421/type,1 Read page 1, 2, and 3 to trouble shoot your problem. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24385 Helpful Info for your oscommerce: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24911 Regards, Bn You can make donation to my startup company since I spent much time of it to support Authorizenet ADC Direct Connection. https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=webm...rect_Connection
