help!!! question about register_globals_v1.5

hi, everyone,

 

i have installed register_globals_v1.5 for my site, after i replaced all files and switch register_globals = off, i still can't install oscommerce, can't pass installation step 2. see the pic

you should not install live actually. You should upload the oscommerce files using ftp and just change the configuration files to match the server settings. So you get store files from the server, you apply the register globals module and then you re-upload the moded files.

could you please tell me, where i can find and change the configuration files (to match the server settings)? which file that is?

if you extract the osc archive there should be in

catalog\includes\configure.php

catalog\admin\includes\configure.php

these are the config files you need to edit to match your server.

 

and you need to delete the

catalog\includes\local

catalog\admin\includes\local

catalog\install
