SPG Music Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 hey guys not sure how to do this part of the process step 15 now you need to create the database table that will be holding the featured products. you need to run the featured_products_english.sql files contents in your favourite sql interface to your database. i dont get that. do i make a NEW database? thanks

Once there you click on the import tab at the top and browse to the file and run it. BACKUP YOUR DATABASE FIRST!!! You can do this via the backup tool in your osC admin. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
angelkelly Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 I installed this like a dream, no error messages so far except this one: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /home/sites/www.jewelleryfountain.co.uk/public_html/jewelry/admin/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /home/sites/www.jewelleryfountain.co.uk/public_html/jewelry/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 13 It appears in the page in my admin where I add featured products. Bit of a pain as without fixing this I have no products on my home page. Anyone able to help?
angelkelly Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 By the way this is whatthe knowledge base says about my problem above: Introduction The following error message is shown when a main code file has been uploaded to the languages directory by accident. Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /home/username/public_html/store/includes/functions/database.php:13) Solution Upload the correct file to the languages/*/ directory where * is the name of the language you are using. I am still confused as I followed the instructions in the manual
