Can I do this?

Hi all,

 

I have a webshop for a few years now running on Joomla and Virtuemart. I must say excellent program. But Joomla/VM are having some restrictions regarding to design etc. Simple example: I want my login box in a popup screen. This can hardly be done with Joomla/VM.

The problem is that recently my collection of belts and bags is divided in 3 different lines. All with their specific looks etc.. I already build the new website. After that I ran in a problem that Joomla/VM can't have 3 diffrent templates for the 3 different lines.

 

So my question is:

 

- Can you create a popup login like Thickbox (http://www.lbm-services.de/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=22&Itemid=46), or can you create a popup login at all?

 

- Can you have different templates for different categories?
