myideal Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Hi, My host has crashed ive had to re-create all the site. Ive added the db user and password again, however it seems not to be working. Im getting the following error, can anyone help to tell me what the problem is and how to go about soliving it. Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'myideal_osc1'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server!
GemRock Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 If you can use the same user name and password to log on to phpMyAdmin and see the database that your ocs store is connecting to, then check the datanase server (name), which you should be able to see once you are in phpMyAdmin, or ask your host for it. They should match those set in your configure.php.
