You should post more details eg a link to your site to start with, perhaps? There may a million reasons for the 404 error if threr's no other info.

ssl isnt set up properly. im still working it out on mine, had to leave my last host because their secure server's url looked too shady for me and dont want my customers to have to feel the same way :(

 

anyways, to the OP, you should try copying your files in your public_html folder, to the ssl folder next to it, i believe thats the shared SSL fix for the issue. i havent gotten past this step yet, but ive read enough answers here that im trying to figure it out now and will post if i get any further :)
