Hi,

I have spend lots of time on this and still have no solution. I recently move our client oscommerce site from our development server to our client's live server, which I think is a shared linux hosting. Everything works fine on our development server. But now after uploading, make changes do the two configure.php files. The front end of the site works fine.

But........

Here is the problem. I am unable to sent out newsletter to anyone whom has subscribe to it but I do able to send out emails from

admin->tools->send emails and I also can get registration confirmation when create a new account.

Hope you.... geniuses in this forum can help me out. the client planed to go live in few days time. If you need more information

please don't hesistate to ask

Thanks a billions,

What happens when you try to send them?

When I click send. I will go to the next page. The page will say something like... sending out newsletter bla bla... but after that I check two of my emails destinations. The newsletter has not arrived.

But if I run it (send newsletter) from the same copy of oscommerce on our development server. the newsletter arrive almost immediately.

Hi, I lost patience trying to figure out how to send newsletters with pictures and in the end decided to place a newsletter page on my website ( with no link from my published site ) and send an email with a direct link to this page to my subscribers. May not be an elegant solution but it works for me.

Thanks, for the tips/idea. Since I also have not fix (no solution) the newsletter problem I have to put that into consideration but that if my client want it. My client know that the oscommerce come with a newsletter module, we already told them that there is problem with it, they want to get it fix. Hopefully they will change their mind.

I have told the hosting company that about the newsletter issues, they say they will look into it, weeks has pass but still newsletter well.. you know still not fix ....:( .

I am very curious why it cannot sends. I have see many posting about this issues but non has a solution.
