Login Errors after altering configure.php for ssl

Hi,

 

My problem is I have altered my includes/configure.php files to use the shared ssl available with my hosting and have entered the https:// url into the

 

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://this bit here');.

 

The site is functioning fine and the secure lock appears when entering the checkout or create account and login areas.

 

However when I login with my test 'customer' account I created I get this error:

 

Error: No match for E-Mail Address and/or Password.

 

The store isn't live yet but is due to be within this week?

 

When I try to create new accounts nothing happens the create account page just clears of details.

 

Any ideas folks?

Surely somebody must have had a similar problem.
