bitznbytes Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Hi, I'm looking for some help or clarification on setting up taxes and shipping for my Canadian company. After spending ALOT of time reading posts and bugging people I have come up with the following: SETUP TAXES TO ONLY CHARGE GST TO ALL CANADIAN PROVINCES EXCEPT FOR THE PROVINCE YOU CURRENTLY SELL FROM (ADD PST AS WELL OR JUST HST) I've used the 'Contribution' information from the following link: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1124 to setup my OScommerce Canadian tax zones / rates and but I'm not sure if its right. When using this contribution all Canadian provinces are charged both PST and GST. Does anyone know if this is correct? Should it just charge GST? Also, how about Shipping? Do I charge tax on shipping? Any help would be appreciated....
