Guest Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Hi, I've been searching around for a module which will allow stock control and also for information on how the default stock control system works within OSC Currently i have the following settings: admin > configuration > stock check stock level = false subtract stock = true allow checkout = true mark product out of stock = *** stock Re-order level = 5 On the product details page still in the admin panel, I have marked product in stock. Where do i say how many of that item is in stock? Finally, i have 1 product which is out of stock. When i change the setting in the products settings in the admin file to out of stock the item is removed from the categories listing. Any items i mark out of stock do how ever appear on the home page at teh bottom under a heading upcoming products and there expected in stock date. When i click on the product in this list i go through to a new page and it says product not found. Final list of questions. Are my stock settings correct in the admin panel? Can i have the items still show up under the category but with a note saying out of stock on the product info page? If i cant have the products still in the category list how do i display the product information when i click on the product under upcoming products on the home page? Where do i enter the amount of items in stock? If there is a stock control module i can install please point me in the right direction or alternatively i would prefer to have it working so that when an item is out of stock it is still in the category list but with a message of some kind saying out of stock?
