Any help please? Thanx in advance Can you be a bit more specific? A dropdown box would have predetermined entries that could be selected. Do you want it like the Manufacturer's drop down box? Do you want people NOT to be able to type in a keyword to search? jon It's all just ones and zeros....

So if the customer choose HP from categories, I like the dropdown display at the top of product listing! Any advice, please?
jonquil Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Okay, you want a dropdown box to show a list of subcategories limited to the category>>product the visitor is looking at. May I say this is redundant. If I click a main category on the left, the subcategories will show under that at the same time the categories are showing in the main content area. When I click a subcategory to show the products within, and I click on a product, the subcategories will still show on the left. Why show them twice? jon It's all just ones and zeros....

I want in dropdown menu show printers of each category ( HP, EPSON ... ) to select wright cartridge for each model named in my dropdown menu. So I want to include this menu to shob above subcategories!
jonquil Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Yes, it's important to match up the right cartridge for the printer. Have you considered that "Related Products" might work for you? It's another way to ensure people choose the right cartridge. Below the product's description would show "Related Product" and you define that related product as the right cartridge for the printer being viewed. Can you show a URL (or PM me a URL) so I can see your categories are set up? :) jon It's all just ones and zeros....
