sts and config.php files not in sync?

Hi :D

 

I use WebHosting4Life for my web hosting and I'm using the Windows platform there.

 

I've recently installed osCommerce, applied the Register_Globals contribution and had a problem with that installation. The config files were not written to at the end of the install. The error stated something about a 'stream' did not exist. I've gotten the site to work for the most part by tweaking the config file manually.

 

I then applied the STS contribution but when I goto the admin section and click on the modules, I see a 'path' where a list of possible modules should be ( in the center section after clicking 'sts' in the modules on the left )

 

I know this is an issue with the config files. Could someone show me an example of valid config files that have applied the register_globals contribution? That would allow me to ensure mine are correctly formated :D
