~cough cough~ I'm not in Florida

Alright, I'm fairly new at this, but I've had a lot of success with editing what I'd like here and there by surfing through the suggestions here on this suport site. Now, I don't know if I just didn't type it in correctly, but when I tried to search a solution to this particular problem, nothing really popped out of the first six pages that came up (I stopped looking after that).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to set up my shipping options, and while I don't have a problem with that perse, I'm having an issue with my "Flat Rate" shipping option. When I go to select the Zone that it is applicable for (my home Province, Alberta) I am given one option: Florida.

Now I know that the default from uploading the software is Florida, but I have changed everything to where I currently am. It's saved and has reloaded properly on several occasions, and yet when I try to select a zone for shipping, I am still offered only Florida.

If anyone has a suggestion for fixing this, I'd do a little happy dance and finally be able to go to be (heck, it's only been four hours mucking around with this stuff, but who needs sleep! ;) )

Thanks in advance for any help,

Tom.

If you download the complete osC Milestone 2.2, there is an "Extras" folder which contains another folder called "Taxes". There is a readme, example tax zones, e.g., Quebec, etc., within. Give this a try.

It's all just ones and zeros....

Thanks for the answer. I'm currently running the 2.2 Milestone version. The taxes don't really have any impact on the shipping zones at all. I've tried everything I can think of: I've added new zones to see if they'd pop up on the table, I've updated *where* my store actually is...nothing seems to enable me to choose any zone other than Florida. Anyone have any ideas?

Much thanks,

Tom.

Did a second-take after all else failed...didn't think anything else would work until something caught my eye as I was flipping through the files; Florida. All of the taxes were for Florida. Create one for Alberta...BOOM! New shipping zone.

Cool and thanks for the tip! Cheers.
