osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Any way to change hard coded path to oscommerce?

I think I may be in a catch 22 here, but thought someone may have a workaround.

I have a client who is stuck with an old custom made windows executable store and wishes to get out of it and try os commerce. I setup an account for his domain at ipowerweb and have since moved over all his html and images. I have installed two oscommerce stores, one for retail, the other for wholesale access. What I'm finding is that oscommerce thinks it is at the full domain name and won't show me anything from the ipowerweb 'backdoor' log in. ie.the site is currently: host###.ipowerweb.com/~mydomain/oscommerce and oscommerce thinks it is www.mydomain.com/oscommerce. When I try to go to the admin interface, I get an error.

Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /home/mydomain/public_html/oscommerce/catalog/admin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 31

Any ideas if there is a simply 'path to oscommerce' I can change in the setup/preferences files?? This is killing me because I don't want to change the DNS to point to this new ipower account UNTIL oscommerce is setup and has the products. My client does not want any downtime, which is what will happen if I am forced to point the DNS to ipower and THEN setup oscommerce.

Thanks in advance.
