Guest Posted March 25, 2007 Share Posted March 25, 2007 i have just gone live with an installation i have been working on for weeks, and the log in prompt to the admin side has gone a bit mad. It usually prompts for a password and username when I try to get into admin just the once, (i added htaccess to the admin file) After I deleted the html index page so that the index.php would be the homepage, the prompt lights up every time i click a lin. i can actually get into admin, but I have to input the password/username several times. Each time, anothe rimage on the page loads up, I am prompted again and so on until all the icons etc are loaded. then when i click to go to another section in Admin, it happens all over gaain. what have i done wrong? the only other thing I did today was re-set all the permissions to 644 (although admin is 755) Very worried that I have left a security loop somewhere.
