Hi everyone!

I'm new here (looks like a great forum). :)

I have an e-com website, and I have had a recurring issue almost since the beginning. (I launched my full e-store almost a year ago).

I'll get a customers payment in authorize.net, or paypal, but the order won't generate an invoice in my admin panel (and the customer doesnt get an invoice, or a copy of their order in their order history) When this has happened, its total chaos to lots of customers at once, because I have to match up payments received, to their shopping carts (logging in as them, and hoping their carts match the total they paid, etc...and if it doesnt match, I have to actually email the customer, which is terrible to have to do)

It has happened three times since January, and then the other day, I received a payment in authorize.net, but my admin generated no order, and the customer emailed me saying she had a hard time checking out (it kept putting the payment page up, etc)

My programmer says its some connectivity issue with my web host, and has nothing to do with my site. But, after posting asking for help on a web hosting info forum, they thought it had to be my site, and not the web host. (my host is liquidweb.com, and I have upgraded 3 times to better packages. I now spend 175.00 a month for some dedicated server line, and my site seems to be running smoothly)

So, here I am....I know nothing about programming, web hosting, etc....and I dont know how to find out what the *real* issue is, and what is causing this to happen at times. I was referred to this forum, so hopefully someone here has some suggestions or ideas. I just dont know if its the host, or my site. (or how to even find out) lol

But, its a very stressful problem, that I need to get resolved once and for all.

Does anyone know a good/great reputable place that can diagnose things like this, and fix them? Or, check out my website, and tell me whats going on, or check out the hosting situation, etc.

Thanks much,

Alexa
