Mine is a linux server (shared hosting)... have to register globels on and set mysql instead of tmp file I install os commerce everything fine nothing is wrong...I do couple modifications in admin panel not serious just change prodcuts name etc then I return back to shopping chart everything seems fine..then I go back to admin do some more changes then BOOM logo and product photos goes...buttons like add to chart etc stays... I delete the DB and recreate it and again install it still no images... If i do fresh install of DB and with new osc directory than everything shows fine but if i repeat the procedure... it is the same thing.
