For the past year or so, we have been using the Individual shipping (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1333/category,2/search,Individual+shipping) module in order to price out shipping, however we offer free shipping with most (90%) of our products. For free shipping, I just set the Individual shipping price to $0.00 and it has worked flawlessly for use without issue. It has now come time to integrate our UPS account into OSCommerce. I have installed the UPS XML Rates and Services (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1323/category,2/search,UPS+XML) Module on our site and it works as it should, by itself. The issue arises when I try and integrate both shipping modules together. If the product has free shipping ($0.00 individual shipping) it does not give an option if UPS ins enabled to select the individual shipping. If the product has a set shipping price for individual shipping, it overrides UPS and then the UPS modules fails to even show up. Priest Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 Any update to this? I'm having a similar problem using UPS XML and the standard "Free Shipping For Orders Over $xx.xx" order total module. The same thing happens - once the order total reaches the amount for Free Shipping, the checkout payment page no longer displays the UPS XML module. I'm just bringing this up because it's pretty much the same and the fix should correct both of our issues. Has anyone found a solution or know where to start to fix this problem? RyanH Posted May 19, 2007 Share Posted May 19, 2007 I am having this problem as well. With the UPS XML shipping module, ALL shipping is calculated, regardless of the shipping weight. We have tried setting the shipping weight to 0lbs but the price is still calculated as is the handling fee. Individual shipping was my next shot at fixing this, but to no avail. The individual shipping module doesn't even seem to want to load with the UPS XML. Consider this a BUMP to this aging thread that no one has helped us with.
