Guest Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 New to osCommerse, I am not aware if the capability exists to have a Retail Price List and Wholesale Price List with User Name and Password access to the Wholesale Price List. This will allow distributors to log into the site, order their products and then pay the assigned Wholesale price. Is this or something like it possible with osCommerce?
spax Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Yes it does. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...rch,sppc/page,1 The Seperate Pricing Per Customer contribution lets you set as many different prices, for as many different groups as you need. In it's simplest form, you can have just Retail and Wholesale prices. You set status for your users, when they create an account, for who is allowed wholesale prices from the admin. Then when a customer logs in, if they are wholesale, they see the wholesale prices. If not, they get the normal retail prices. As well as SPPC being an excellent mod, there are lots of excellent "bolt ons" to add to it. You will see those by following the above link.
