Ulas Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Whats wrong with the index.php in the language folder? Even changing a single letter gives me a blank page when I go to the shop. Can anyone help me with this? Please this time, if you know it answer.

Ulas Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 I want to change the basic info on the frontpage. There are 4 blue circles with numbers in it and some text behind it. So far I have managed to change the first 2. But now each time I edit the info and upload the file, I get a blank page. Why didnt this happen a few days ago when I edited the first 2 items? I really dont understand this doesnt make any sense.
jasonabc Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Sounds like you're using the File Manager in OSC's Admin Tool. This should not be used - it's buggy and causes lots of problems. Download your store files to your computer, edit them locally and the nFTP the newly edited file up to your webserver. Ulas Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 No Im using Filezilla 3. When the error occures, I upload the previous index.php (which I have backed up) back and it works again. I have never seen such a strange bug before. If it doesnt get solved, I won't be able to use oscommerce. Any alternatives? So far I dont like oscommerce much, poor documentation and many strange bugs.
