swortis Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I renamed my store directory (and adjusted the config files - everything appears OK to the public) but now I cannot log in to the admin control panel. I assume this is an .htacces issue? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, SWW
spax Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 You can't log in because it is disallowing username/password or because your_domain.com/new_name/admin doesn't exist?

spax Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 It sounds like a .htaccess issue, although there shouldn't really be one as the .htpasswd file should be above the root directory. The .htaccess file would have a server path to .htpasswd so changing directory names wouldn't affect it.....I think! If you did this yourself manually, did you put .htpasswd in one of the osC directories? If you did it by your host's control panel or had your host do it for you, the best thing would be to do that again.
