vermorel Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 (edited) We have released a "sales forecasting" contribution (see link below) that may require more than a couple of seconds to execute (because, this contribution relies on Web Services communications). http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4970 Such delayed execution may lead to timeouts in shared hosting. Our main concern is that such timeouts are really counter-intuitive for the user that may not even be aware that a timeout actually occurred. We would like to be able to handle gracefully the timeouts; i.e. to provide a meaningful error message when the timeout happen. Does anyone knows how to do that? Thanks in advance, Joannès Vermorel Edited March 29, 2007 by Chris Dunning Quote
