We have released a "sales forecasting" contribution (see link below) that may require more than a couple of seconds to execute (because, this contribution relies on Web Services communications).

Such delayed execution may lead to timeouts in shared hosting. Our main concern is that such timeouts are really counter-intuitive for the user that may not even be aware that a timeout actually occurred.

We would like to be able to handle gracefully the timeouts; i.e. to provide a meaningful error message when the timeout happen.

Does anyone knows how to do that?

Thanks in advance,

Joannès Vermorel
