ollee Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I'm in the process of setting up an online store which I know will require the Option Type Feature--I wondered, is there an installation of OsC that comes with this already installed? Or, in other words, is there any easier way to install this than cutting and pasting lines and lines of code? many thanks! ollee.
chooch Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 No, there is no osc preloaded with that conntribution installed. There are so many contributions out there, it wouldn't be possible to have a pre-laoded version for every contribution... Anyway, if you have a stock osC store then you don't have any copy/pasting to do - oyu simply overwrite the whole files. Or in the event you have a modified version you can use a text-diff program to see what changes you may need to make. Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH
