I'm installing the application suite now just to see how it is, and I have a couple of questions.

#1 do I need a separate db or can I name the prefix something different then my current db tables, and can I name the folder I put the files in anything or does it have to be specific.

Thanks bbrian018

I would use a seperate db unless the structure is exactly the same os oscommerce.

You can name the folder you put the shop in anything you want. I would install the files instead of the catelog

ie. root directory/Your folder name/catelog contents

not root directory/Your folder name/catelog/catelog contents

Thanks Bill that was a fast reply and so you know the install went perfect. Unfortunately I used the same db as I used for my phpbb3.0 installation. Seems to be showing no side effects yet but god only knows. So overall I like the looks of it, will take a bit to get used of the app and how it works but hey I’m excited to try it out.

Have a look if you want
