Sorting products in Admin by manufacturer

Hello,

 

I am having trouble getting the code to work to have my products listed in categories.php in Admin sorted by Manufacturer name rather than alphabetically.

 

I know this is the bit of code that needs tweaking so if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it:
