comspolve Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 This is my new store which is going to open soon. We are selling webhosting plans, domainregistration. We are going to sell hardware, software, and peripheral devices. The logo in the upper left corner is not definite. SSL is not active yet (but is going to be). Love to hear feedback from you. chooch Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 It looks very stock and the images are really bad. On first looking all that seems to be worked on is the stylesheet and the logo image. Maybe you should add fixed width and also add an image contribution that helps the display of the images in low pixels, after that re-post here and hopefully someone will give advice. Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH

Yes, i was thinking about that. Also, the few produkts that were in the store were testing products. Now i am in the process of putting real produkts in the store, also with much better pictures. Thanks for your input so far. greetz, Compsolve

chooch Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Which image contrib do you recommend? greetz The author of Image Magic has apparantly withdrawn it because people were adding useless add-ons to his code, that really would have been an excellent one to use but you'll have to search the 'image' contributions to find a substitute. - good luck.
