Change sort order of product manually

Hi

I have a cart with 20 items. It will take me longer to install the product sort order contribution than frankly it's worth, so I was wondering if htere's a way to change the sort order of a product manually, via phpMyadmin. I changed the date, to no avail. .... any thoughts????

You can edit the query in index.php to sort by whatever field you want. In the long run though it would easier and less of a headache by adding the contribution. The product sort order contribution is fairly simple. Plus, if you ever add more products or want to make a change you won't have to remember which code you changed. If you are a webmaster for someone else it will make it easier should someone else ever have to make changes as well.
