swiftmed Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Hey Guys, In short i have to totally redesign a customers oscommerce store from scratch because their previous designer has made so many cock-ups with the script it would take to long to fix them all. my question is, is there a way i can transfer all the products from one store, onto the new one??? i appreciate your advice guys.
vasttech Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 just export the products, products_description, categories, and products_to_categories tables from the old database into the new one. Make sure that your table setups are the same though between the two. In other words if there was contribution or other mod that was made to the old version that affected any of those tables you will want to make sure that those table changes are in the new one.
