vasttech Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Did you recently change hosts or your database password? If not check with your hosting company, they may have made a change to your database. Also, if you have a large store and are on a shared hosting plan, there is a chance your hosting company has suspended your database account for space or bandwidth limits. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions

sheltonjb Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 thanks jeff the problem with host or server because it repair her self today there is no problem thanks again I have the same problem! except, mine is my own doing...can someone please help? i'm getting worried now because my deadline is next for it to be open and i've gone and balls'd it all up! for some reason in my cpanel the msql section showed strings referring to 'osc5' and 'osc1' and as i am trying to input the discount coupon contribution it was suggested that it wasnt working because there were two 'users' in the database, so i went and changed all references to 'osc5' to 'osc1' but now i am left with the error above. i'm guessing it's because my password doesnt match or isnt the same as the one osc5 had, problem is i dont remember what it was. Is there anyway i can find out? I looked within the site and saw the password but obviously thats been encrypted hasnt it because it isnt anything like my usual passes, so i dont know what to do.... please help :'( Shelton Brown Web/Graphic Designer
