darkeye78x Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Hi, I just installed Header Tags Controller, and it works on mainpage (index.php) and on category site, but not on product site. Please take a look on http://www.shop.tischfussball-online.com. I don't know where the problem could be... Can anybody help me? Greetz Dan Quote
Jack_mcs Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Did you run fill tags? Does the product info page section in admin->Header Tags->Text Control show in black or red? darkeye78x Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 (edited) Did you run fill tags? Does the product info page section in admin->Header Tags->Text Control show in black or red? There is not red... all there seems to be okay. And I fill tags. Adminarea works well... there are no errors. EDIT: All Metas on product sites are the sames as on the index site. Jack_mcs Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 If you look at a product in admin->catalog and it has the correct meta tag entries but they do not display on the product info page of the shop, then it is either the product_info.php, includes/header_tags.php and/or english/header_tags.php file that is at fault. Try replacing the last two with the ones from the contribution. If it still fails, the prodcut_info.php file is at fault. darkeye78x Posted March 16, 2007 Author Posted March 16, 2007 Hi, just I re-uploaded the both header-tag files and set the CHMOD on 777. After that I rechanged the code in catalog/product_info and language/german/product_info - But it didn't work... its the same problem on my site. Here is a screenshot from my adminarea/catalog: www.shop.tischfussball-online.com/screen.gif And from adminarea/header tags/tags control: www.shop.tischfussball-online.com/screen2.gif And header tags/fill tags: www.shop.tischfussball-online.com/screen3.gif And this is the result from this product site: http://www.shop.tischfussball-online.com/K...art-Soccer-Ball I don't understand this... Where else could be the problem? Here is my complete catalog_info file: www.shop.tischfussball-online.com/product_info.txt It would be VERY cool if anybody could help me! Greetz Dan Quote
darkeye78x Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 Nobody can help? :( I think, there must be a problem with the cache. Because, if I delete the catalog/product_info file on my server, there are no problems with product-sites. You can see every product site, and there are no errors in my shop. Please help, I don't want to remove all the code!! Quote
Jack_mcs Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 If you delete the whole file and it still displays, then you must not be working with the same set of files that are being used for display. You need to check the paths to make sure where you are uploading to is actually the shop being shown in a browser. darkeye78x Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I am very sure I'm uploading to the correct paths. I am not stupid. Quote
Jack_mcs Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I didn't mean to impy that you are. It is easy to make such mistakes and there are many such posts on the forum. I can't see how one can delete a whole file and still have the shop run without being in the wrong place. I suppose your host may be using a cache that is storing the files but usually the actual file is at least checked. darkeye78x Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 (edited) Hi, can u please look into my index-file, I think there could be the problem: http://www.shop.tischfussball-online.com/index.txt Just I saw, the code 'products_date_added' is now in the index-file. Nevertheless, before installing the header-contrib, I installed the 'Search Engine Friendly'-contrib. Could it be, that these two contribs together are making problems? Jack_mcs Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I'm not familiar with that contribution. I know there was at least one of the seacrh engine friendly contributions that was not compatible with Header Tags. The best one to use, whether you use Header Tags or not, is Ultimate SEO. I suggest you install it instead, after removing the other one,of course.
