Force email to Customer for Product Updates

I have a report that shows me all the customers that have purchased a particular product.

 

I need to be able to send an email out to those customers to advise them of recalls and expected problems.

 

I want to use the newsletter feature for particular products, but I need to force the email out so that all those customers get the email even if they have selected NOT to receive email updates.

 

Any Ideas
