Guest Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Hi, I am in need of a custom feature for my cart/s - I'll explain my problem and then if anyone thinks they can make something then let me know how much if will cost and we might be able to strike a deal: We sell gift voucher and when purchased we need to capture the name and weight of the person receiving the voucher - normally there is a purchase quantity of 1 to 10; however there are 42 items.. I have been using the Option Type Feature with another cart and i had to create the same product 10 times, but with X1 to X10 depending on how many someone wanted to buy. This not only looks ugly, but would take forever to add that many products for the cart in question - (420 products to be exact) So what I am looking for is something that asked for the correct number of names and weights depending on the quantity they select in the cart. If anyone thinks there is a better idea I am open to options as this has got me stuck! Look forward to your replies and remember we are willing to pay for such a feature. Cheers, Neil

This is probably what you want... neilwillis I don't now exactly what you mean but if I get it right you want the coupon codes per name and weight of the person.. So if the customers buys ten coupons it will ask for ten persons names and their weight! If the customer buys 40 it will ask for 40? And will add this to the product so it can be fetched in the order view of the admin? Don't now if you still want it and if there is such a contribution that allows for custom field during checkout!
