Guest Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 (edited) Hi there from down under. I am looking for a shipping contribution that would allow me to offer “Freight Forward” for my customers. Normally my customers prefer to use the carrier of there own choice who they have an account with. This also eliminates our business from getting involved with additional expenses of freight charges, especially if the customer has an account with our business. It would work like this: The customer places an order on line in this case, agricultural tillage. As he progresses onto the checkout to shipping, an option includes “Freight Forward” whereby he selects one of a number of carriers previously entered into by admin who he has an account with. Additionally, if required, he can also enter in a separate field his freight carriers account number for reference. This is all recorded in the appropriate pro-forma invoice and invoices etc distributed by the system. We then pack up the order, fill out the selected carriers consignment docket previously provided by each carrier, and phone them for the pickup. If there is a contribution that offers something similar, would someone let me know? Perhaps someone may be interested in developing a small contribution (hint Vger) as such unfortunately, I do not have the expertise a lot of you have to do this. Thankyou – Barry My revised site is here if you want to have a peak  Edited March 14, 2007 by Barry Ferguson Quote
Guest Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Hmmmm, no response, Is there anyone out there who may be interested in creating a contribution. I do not know too much about PHP but I am willing to assist. I am sure there is a need for a contribution like this, basically the purchaser pay's the freight himself using his own freight/courier account. Cheers Quote
