Add something to session on loading index.php

Hey all

 

Is there a way to add something to the session on loading the index page? My site RockShopDirect has a stylesheet selector but after feedback customers prefer the non-default style. To alter the stylesheet you would click a link to http://www.rockshopdirect.co.uk/index.php?...et_preference=2. How do I make the style_sheetpreference set itself to '2' as default.

this is a custom thing so you need to find where the code sets up the stylesheet index/preference and change its default value.
