yaoi
hi im new to all this and just installed oscommerce at a free host which provides elefante install scripts which was utilised for the installation. however whenever i click on some product links, there appears to be more slashes in the url .. etc http://mydomain.com///catalog/product_info.php?products_id= as you can see, there are 3 slashes before catalog. why is this happening and how do i resolve this? i have asked the support at host and the reply was "this is a problem related to a third party script that we do not support. I will advice you to ask the support team of the script you use. I am sure that they will assist you properly." so i hope to get some assistance here regarding this and another issue. whenever i use elefante scripts to install oscommerce at root www.mydomain.com, the index always shows up at www.mydomain.com/catalog instead. so i copied everything from catalog to the root at www.mydomain.com and the index appears, however links are down and no pictures. confused as to what the problem is. any help is appreciated thanks in advance! You're going to need to edit your includes/configure.php, and admin/includes/configure.php files, to reflect your proper directory path... You should also be able to fix the problem with the multiple slashes in that file, as the values in that file are what are used to contruct your links for the anchor tags... Richard.
