I read the documentation but I'm still confused. I have about 500 images/products to configure and I was wondering if there was a simpler way to do it other than clicking new product 500 times and uploading them all individually. I assume i can FTP all my images in the correct folders then just create product and link to it.

Another question is, when i do use the new product screen and upload an image, it puts the image in the default images folder. Isn't there a way to create subfolders and put your images and the folders you want. (i.e folder hierarchy based on the product category hierarchy )

Thanks

Get a hold of the Easy Populate contribution. It will achieve both goals for you (except the actual uploading of pictures, which you can do in bulk via FTP).

Hope this helps,

Max.
