Guest Posted October 16, 2002 Share Posted October 16, 2002 This option isnt working for me... Using 2.2 (3 weeks old) I goto edit the product - select "copy to" button. Choose another category and both Copy Methods: Link product & Duplicate product end up with the same emtpy result when I check out the category it should be copied to. Guest Posted October 18, 2002 Share Posted October 18, 2002 hmm I just found somthing out... this is what I was doing.... in the admin area under "categories/products" I would type the product name in the search. When that one product came up I would select the "copy to" - that copy never worked. BUT when I manually clicked into the categories & sub categories to locate the product I wanted to move (not via the search) the product "copy to" worked then. Stamping that bug out would be very cool, trying to copy over 100 products by manually clicking into the sub categories is going to take forever when I can just do a search on the product name and edit it there. Guest Posted October 18, 2002 Share Posted October 18, 2002 another little bug i noticed was that if you delete a Copy of a product in one category it also deletes the images so if there are other copies of that product in another category they will be screwed for images.
