Emjx Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hi - perhaps something I have missed in the config/setup of OSC - I can access my admin controlpanel for OSC without being challenged for a login. I assume that this is not supposed to happen? I can't find setting anywhere to set a login requirement.

Make a quick search on the forums and you'll get the needed information.

Nullachtfuffzehn Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hi - Thanks for that, I was expecting something built into OSC!! I can understand it. When I started with OSC I thought the same. But why should the wheel be invented twice, if a proven and secure solution is already there?
Guest Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 The reason is the host controls access to the folders and files and not osc. It's not a coding matter.
